Last week I managed to get the the Art Gallery of NSW to see “the Mad Square” exhibition. Wow, this is fantastic. It is such a comprehensive body of work and a must see for anyone. This exhibition takes you through decades of some of Germany most inspirational Avant- garde artists. From Expressionism, Bauhaus, Contructivism, Metropolis to Objectivity. There is so much to see here it is near impossible to narrow it down. I have selected a couple of artists from Bauhaus and Constructivism. I will find it difficult NOT to be influenced by this for my next collection.
